In2Azores is a family-owned tourism lodging company in the Terceira Island, part of the Azores Archipelago, where it has restored two beautiful properties to their original architecture, for holiday rental.


Casa das Lajes, in Praia da Vitória (Vitória Beach), is made up of two rental properties, a two bedroom house and one bedroom house. Recanto das Cinco, in Angra do Heroísmo, is also made up of two rental properties, a two bedroom lodge and a studio apartment.


Both locations offer all the modern comforts along with fantastic views, so you can enjoy the island’s beauty and tourism with the utmost tranquility.

About Ilha Terceira / Terceira island


This island of Terceira is known for its startling natural beauty, vast pastures, breathtaking landscapes, and delicious gastronomy.  Cultural and artistic highlights include the Bailinhos de Carnaval (Carnival Dances) and the Holy Spirit Festivities or Sanjoaninas (festivities dedicated to Saint John). During the Summer the island hosts numerous music festivals, such as the JazzAngra, as well as gastronomy and handicraft fetes.  

There is plenty to do around the Island, from sailing to canoeing and kayaking, from walks, and hikes to horseback riding and paragliding. Other activities include bird watching, bathing in the crystal-clear waters of our beaches, various watersports, visits to the caves, museums, and golf. The golf course is about 3km from the Casa das Lajes property.

The “Casa das Lajes” properties are located in the parish of Lajes, about 4.7 km from the Lajes International Airport. The rental properties consist of two accommodation units: a T2 Duplex with maximum occupancy for 6 people and a T1 with maximum capacity to accommodate 4 people.

The restoration of these properties stayed true to the local architecture of this part of Terceira Island, known as “Casas do Ramo Grande”, and the reconstruction used materials previously used in the build of island houses. The properties are perfectly integrated in a rural landscape and boast stunning views of the sea and the mountains.
Casa Das Lajes is located 19 km (20 min by car) from the World Heritage town of Angra do Heroísmo.

T2 Duplex Apartment (two-bedroom, one double sofa bed) – max 6 people


This property has two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and one comfortable sofa bed (in the living room).


It has an open plan kitchen and living room, perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware - microwave, electric kettle, toaster, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher, coffee machine, ceramic hob, oven, cutlery and other utensils, pots, pans, glasses and dishes).  There is also a toilet in this area of the house.


The suite bathrooms are equipped with a shower, washbasin, toilet. Bed linen and towels will be provided for the duration of your stay. Should you need more please ask. There is a flat-screen TV, cable (fiber) television and free Internet service (wireless/cable).

The “Recanto das Cinco” is a two-property tourism enterprise located in the parish of Cinco Ribeiras, a rural part of the island, about 15-minute drive from the World Heritage city of Angra do Heroísmo.

The development consists of two accommodation units, a T2 (two bedroom), with a maximum capacity to accommodate 6 people, and a T0 (studio) with a maximum capacity to accommodate 2 people. Both properties are decorated in a very welcoming traditional style and conveniently furnished for your comfort. 

This area of Terceira Island is characterized by beautiful landscapes, vast of pastures, mountains, and of course, the sea. The properties are built in a privileged location. From there you can see the neighboring islands of São Jorge and Pico. You are secluded enough to enjoy walks in peaceful surroundings but close enough to points of interest and to the center of town. This is also the place to be to enjoy the island’s beautiful sunsets. 

This development is 5 minutes away from the Cinco Ribeiras Bathing Area with natural pools, 700 meters from the center of the Parish, and 100 meters from a cheese-making unit - Queijo Vaquinha, where you can taste the different qualities of cheese produced there and enjoy a glass of local wine.

This unit has two bedrooms, one bathroom and comfortable sofa bed in the living room. 
Open plan kitchen and living room area, fully equipped (microwave, electric kettle, toaster, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher, coffee machine, ceramic hob, oven, cutlery and other utensils, pots, pans, glasses, and plates). 
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Bed linen and towels are available in an amount appropriate to the length of stay, and in case of need more will be made available. 
The apartment has a flat-screen TV, with access to cable (fiber) television and free Internet service (wireless/cable).

Apartment T0

Apartment T0 – studio – max 2 people. 

This studio includes a bed, living room area and kitchenette.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware - microwave, electric kettle, toaster, fridge, coffee machine, ceramic hob, cutlery and other utensils, pots, pans, glasses, and plates. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, toilet. Bed linen and towels will be provided for the duration of your stay. Should you need more, please just ask.  Outdoor Area


There is an outdoor area, with a parasol and sitting area, perfect for entertainment or enjoying a glass of wine as you watch the sun go down. There are also loungers for the sun lovers and a barbeque.
